Following yesterday’s blog post for part one, I can now share part two of Emma and Andy’s wedding with you.
Following their ceremony at St Luke’s Church in Watford, Hertfordshire, we headed over to Cheslyn Gardens to do some family and bridal party group shots. We then did some photos of the newlyweds amongst the gorgeous greenery and flowers. The gardens are looked after daily so it is such a beautiful place. It is now one of my favourite places to visit!
Their reception was held at Soul Survivor in North Watford, which is a church within a warehouse space. The rest of the evening was spent full of laughter and smiles, as well as a lot of partying that evening! It was such a fun wedding that I felt really privileged to be photographing it.
Many thanks to Rachael Pereira again for second shooting for me, and a massive thank you to Emma and Andy for being such an awesome couple and for choosing me as their wedding photographer! Congratulations once again guys!
I knew from after their engagement shoot that photographing Emma and Andy’s wedding would be a lot of fun. They are such a fun loving, laid back young couple, that I knew their day would be a fantastic wedding to shoot. This first part to their wedding photos shows their wedding ceremony held at St Luke’s Church in Watford, Hertfordshire. Their reception was later held at Soul Survivor in North Watford, with a quick stop off at Cheslyn Gardens for some photographs with the bridal party.
The day started off damp and wet as we arrived at Emma’s house for her bridal preparation with her six bridesmaids and her parents. Though it was raining, it didn’t dampen Emma’s mood. Once ready, the bridal party said a prayer to wish Emma and her soon to be husband a blessed and happy day. As if their prayers were answered, it stopped raining and didn’t rain again. We even saw a little bit of sun!
The ceremony was one of the most joyous and uplifting services I have seen. It was very moving and lovely to see the church packed with so many people to be a part of this special occasion. There was a lot of singing and a lot of praising, as well as a speech from the couple’s pastor. After they were made husband and wife, we headed over to Cheslyn Gardens. As the rain had stopped, we were able to make the most of the beautiful gardens that are tucked away, known as Watford’s best kept secret. We did some group shots with immediate family as well as some fun shots of the bridal party to really show off their personalities.
A massive thank you to Rachael Pereria who second shot for me on the day. And look out for the second part of the wedding which will be up on the blog tomorrow!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Emma and Andy’s wedding in Watford, Hertfordshire. When I first arrived at Emma’s house, we were greeted with rain, rain and more rain, but it didn’t dampen Emma’s spirit. By the time she was ready to head to the church, the rain had stopped and stayed dry for the remainder of the day. It was a beautiful wedding with such a joyous and emotional ceremony at St Luke’s Church, with a stop off at Cheslyn Gardens for photos, before heading over to Soul Survivor for the reception. I can’t wait to go through all the photos, but for now, here are a couple of sneak peeks of the happy couple! Congratulations Emma and Andy!
On the blog today are four brothers who I had the pleasure of photographing a few weeks ago. I have known their mum Louise since secondary school, so it was great to see her and catch up, as well as photographing her four boys together. It was lovely to see how close they all are, and they were so full of energy when we went down to the local park to photograph them that the shoot was a lot of fun.
