Tomorrow will be the big day for Alison and Richard! So today I thought I’d share some of my favourite images from their engagement shoot we did last month. We met up at Ashridge Estate with Richard’s son Samuel and were lucky enough to avoid the rain showers which had been threatening to dampen the day.
We walked around the estate and I knew of a couple of locations I really wanted to head to. There was a field that was filled with gorgeous green grass that was very secluded (partly because it is found at the bottom of a really steep hill!), and also an abandoned shack. There are also huts made out of tree branches in various locations throughout the estate too. Originally we had hoped to have done a camping themed shoot, as both Alison and Richard are keen campers, and although we were not able to carry that out, least we were able to get a little bit of that theme in with these photos.
We did a combination of couple shots of both Alison and Richard together, but also some family portraits that included Samuel. They also had a game of football and frisbee, and climbed trees so it was a fun afternoon!
I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding tomorrow, and hoping that the weather will hold out!
